Nicholas Tassios
Managing Director
Nikos is the founder of N.D. Tassios Maritime Consultants (founded in January 2000), which later transformed to NEXUS MARITIME S.A. He is the entire company’s Director.
He has previously worked as Senior Surveyor and Technical Consultant since 1989, having obtained vast experience in claims handling and casualties investigation for major H+M Underwriters and P+I Clubs.
He is presently handling all kinds of assignments. However, he is mainly involved in more complex casualty investigations and in providing expertise evidence before Courts and Arbitration hearings as well as supervising and has a clear picture of all our offices’ assignments, being in direct contact with our local Surveyors and the client whenever needed.
Nikos is a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with a B.Sc. Degree from the Athens University and an M.Sc. Degree from the Cranfield Institute of Technology in UK. He is a Member of major International Associations such as SNAME and the Technical Chamber
