Large-scale cargo vessel conversions and other major modifications has been his expertise over the past 15 years. His technical consultancy services portfolio includes the development of virtually all plans / manuals / studies required for cargo ships in operation. He has also been the project manager / task leader for numerous EU-funded research projects over the past decade, mostly dealing with ship energy efficiency / ship safety issues.
