According to Regulation 22A of MARPOL Annex VI which enters into force on 1 March 2018, all ships above 5000 GT will have to report their annual CO2 emissions from 1 January 2019 onwards. Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plans (SEEMP) will have to be updated and submitted to Flag or a Recognized Organization (RO) before that date.
