AMC Turkey carried out Rightship Seminar

AMC Turkey carried out a Rightship Seminar at the Radisson Blu Atasehir on the 27th and 28th of February . The Seminar was presented by our partner Mr Antoins Iordanidis and was well attended by technical staff from the leading shipping companies in Turkey. The main topic of this seminar was the details of the BMSA Bulk Carrier Management Self Assessment which Rightship will be implementing with effect from 2019. Similar to TMSA for Tankers, it has become evident now that the Bulk Carrier industry is heading in the same direction as the Tanker industry did some 20 years ago and the rules of the game will no doubt be changing over the next few years with the Bulk Carrier shipowners, office staff and crew on board will have to adopt to this chage, it will definetely come with certain pain as would be expected in all such radical changes to existing systems.
